End-of-year Reality Check

While everyone’s posting platitudes and calling it “winding down,” we’re here with a friendly reminder: December is not the month to slack off. It’s the month to find balance and plan for a new year.

Here’s what we’re actually doing to close the year strong, and set 2026 up with less fluff, more bite.

Trends We’re Taking Into 2026
This is not your basic “AI and authenticity” snoozefest. These are the things we’re doubling down on:

  • Brands with a recognizable voice, not just a nice aesthetic

  • Creators as creative directors, not just content machines

  • Messy-in-progress over manicured-and-late

  • Systems that scale without sounding like ChatGPT on autopilot

If your content plan looks like a Canva graveyard, you’re not alone. But you do need a plan that isn’t just “post more.”

Brands Still On the Naughty List

  • Saying “excited to announce” like it’s a personality

  • Posting holiday graphics with zero context or actual meaning

  • Ghosting your audience for weeks, then showing up with “big news”

  • Thinking a new logo = a rebrand

Be better. Or at least be interesting.

The Real Gift? Voice.
If your 2026 goals include showing up more, cool… But we’d argue it should be “showing up on voice more.”

Not always louder. Not always more often. Just sharper, clearer, faster.

We’ve been helping brands do that all year. We’re not slowing down now.

If you want help making your 2026 brand/content/marketing plans suck less, we’re booking January discovery calls. You know where to find us.

Our 2026 resolution list for you:

  • Stay sharp.

  • Say the thing.

  • Don’t post like it’s still 2019.
